Wat Phra Sri San Phet is the kind of thing I think of when Thailand springs to mind. I don't know if this is because of travel programs or due to cheesy martial arts movies. Anyways they always seemed very temple like to me. When we arrived the tour guide told us that these large spire like structures, called 'stupas' hold the cremated remains of royalty. The three main stupas are for the kings and the others for their queens etc. These are also the foundations that Bangkok's Grand Palace is based on. Well worth a visit, it looked really fantasy like I thought.
Inside one of the buildings there was another huge Buddha. It was quite amazing in it's own right but we have kinda seen a lot of Buddha's now….NEXT!
