Fossil Shell Beach

Apparently 1 of 3 in the world.

Access was quite restricted so we climbed down the cliffside using the rope that’s been provided. The beach appeared to have huge slabs just laid beside the coast - these were the fossilised freshwater shells which were laid down 40 million years ago.
The beach wasn’t the cleanest, but the water was so warm & there were huge crabs scurrying around.
